Large Hand-Painted Ceramic Nativity Scene

The large hand-painted ceramic Nativity scene is a ceramic composition crafted by our artisans in Positano. The scene includes Mary, Saint Joseph, Baby Jesus, the ox and the donkey, interpreting one of the most recognizable symbols of Christmas through traditional ceramic craftsmanship.

Mary and Saint Joseph each measure 21 cm / 8.3 in in height, while Baby Jesus measures 8 cm / 3.1 in in height and 13 cm / 5.1 in in length. The ox and donkey each measure 12 cm / 4.7 in in height and 19 cm / 7.5 in in length. The different proportions of the figures create a complete representation of the traditional Nativity scene.

The large hand-painted ceramic Nativity scene is designed to become a focal point of a Christmas setting. Its individual elements can be arranged together according to the available space, creating a distinctive display inspired by the traditional Italian Nativity scene.

Each element of the composition is individually crafted and decorated. Slight variations in details, brushstrokes and tones may therefore occur, reflecting the handcrafted nature of the ceramic pieces and making each creation slightly different.

\Part of the Ceramica Assunta Christmas Collection, this Nativity scene combines Christmas tradition with the ceramic craftsmanship of Positano. A composition to keep over time and rediscover year after year during the festive season, bringing an expression of Italian craftsmanship into the home.
